Tsunami from Chile quake reaches Japan

TOKYO – The first tsunami from Chile's earthquake has hit Japan's outlying islands, but the initial waves are small.

Japan's Meteorological Agency said the first tsunami to reach Japan after the magnitude 8.8 quake off Chile was recorded in the Ogasawara islands early Sunday afternoon. It was just 10 centimeters high. There were no reports of damage.

Officials warned that bigger waves could reach Japan's main islands, and kept up their alert for the nation's Pacific coastline.

Japan put all of its eastern coastline on tsunami alert Sunday and ordered hundreds of thousands of residents in low-lying areas to seek higher ground as waves generated by an earthquake off Chile raced across the Pacific at hundreds of miles (kilometers) per hour.

TOKYO (AP) — Japan's Meteorological Agency has warned that a "major" tsunami of up to 9 feet (3 meters) could hit northern coastal areas within the next few hours following a massive earthquake in Chile.

The agency issued the tsunami alert Sunday morning for its entire Pacific coast. The tsunami was expected to be biggest in the north, with waves of 6 feet (2 meters) or less expected along other coastal areas.

The tsunami was expected to hit northern areas about 1:30 p.m. local time (0430 GMT).

The agency urged residents in coastal areas to head quickly to higher ground.

Audition’s Domination IV Eliminations Tournament

Mechanics:
• The tourney will consist of 3 rounds: the eliminations, semi-finals and finals.
• During the first round, the top 2 players from each 6-man group will advance to the semi-finals. In the semi-finals, the top 3 players from each group will then move on to the finals. During the finals, the final 6 players will then have a dance-off.
• All modes will be set at “No Chance”.
• The top 3 highest-scoring players will win the 1st, 2nd and 3rd prize respectively.

• 1,000,000 den
• Indefinite Upper and Lower Garment of his/her Choice
• Representative for the National Tournament for Domination IV

2nd Place:

Guidelines:

Mechanics:
Round 1:
• Audistas will walk on stage and show-off their clothing.
• Facilitator will ask then ask questions about your outfit.
• Players will cheer for their favorite and the 10 contestants with the loudest cheer will move on to the next round.

Round 2: Q&A
• Facilitator will hold envelopes with questions
• Players will then choose an envelope and answer the question
• Facilitator will then ask the players to give their votes in the registration booth
• Top 3 winners will be announced during the awarding of winners

Mechanics

1. The host shall choose 2 teams composed of 3 members.
2. Each team will be provided a Manila paper and marker pens.
3. They will play a game of charades and the team to get the most number of right answers in 5 minutes wins.

   • You cannot say any words. Doing otherwise means automatic disqualification.
   • You can only provide physical GESTURES and ACTIONS like nodding to say yes, or forming an “X” sign with your hands if it’s wrong
   • You can only use the provided materials: paper, pens, etc.
   • Drawings can be used, but you cannot write any WORDS or LETTERS
   • Do a THUMBS-UP once that your team member has provided the correct answer
   • 1 point is given to every correct answer from your members
   • If your members cannot provide an answer, they can PASS!
   • You have a maximum of 3 minutes to have your members guess all the words
   • The Community Manager or GameMaster will read out the CATEGORY of the words to your members
